Description

'Women in Digital Design' is a website prototype dedicated to the designers that have made the history of digital graphics. Left on the sly for too many years, the value of these female figures is at the center of the platform project, which, starting from 1950, tells the stories, anecdotes and projects of the most relevant designers of the last half century. A living project, in continuous evolution, because design never sleeps.

Description

'Women in Digital Design' is a website prototype dedicated to the designers that have made the history of digital graphics. Left on the sly for too many years, the value of these female figures is at the center of the platform project, which, starting from 1950, tells the stories, anecdotes and projects of the most relevant designers of the last half century. A living project, in continuous evolution, because design never sleeps.

The entire website uses a color palette focused on purple, which was chosen because it is the color that represents women, justice and dignity. The whole design is based on the profile of 2 protopersons and on their background knowledge regarding the use of digital artefacts. In this case both protopersons were considered with an average experience in the use of websites and digital devices, therefore a direct and easily navigable layout was chosen.
